The Toy Society

I made my first toy and drop for The Toy Society--what a rush! I loved making this little doll and I really loved the idea of giving her away to a stranger. I will definitely do this again.
Our church was having a rummage sale today and this playground is across the parking lot from the sale so there should be a lot of traffic. Ooooh, I am so excited at the thought of someone taking her home, I can't stand it!

I made a little doll one time. I didn't know why. I saw it on Carol Duvall and just wanted to do it. I love yours and I love the idea of giving it to someone that you don't even know. This is my first visit to your blog and didn't realize it was new until I read all of your posts. I look forward to many more. I absolutely love the quilt. Do you mind giving me more detailed instructions on how to do this. This would be a great project for me and my grandchildren this summer. That is all I need...another project!

Isn't The Toy Society fun? I made my 1st one around Christmas time....it has not been reported as found (bummer). I'm getting ready to do a few more.

Not only do I make comfort dolls similar to this one, but I belong to the Toy Society, have had 3 scruffy schaunerzy pooches and make potholders to de-stress!!! Looks like we have more than a few things in common!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and entering my book give-away! Cute blog, dog, toys, quilts and potholders :)
